Major Project - 1st design board (Final)

The 1st Design Board (Final)

I had to make a design board for a final piece.

I have not heard the design board before, so I need to research and find some examples to understand and know how I make it.

I started researching at the first on google and found some examples that I will refer to my design board.

I will start making my own design board of the first major project, using the software called 'Photoshop'.

•  Making Process

I made a new board at the first.

I rotated it clockwise.

I chose a image which I would use in my design board and I needed to cut just main part of the image.

I used this tool to cut the image.

I moved it into the new board after cutting.

This tool that I used is really useful to fit the images, checking the space between images.

I put the title of my design board on the top using a Type Tool below.

I found this image to decorate my design board title.

I put it on the top and I used an effect called gradation.

I thought if I put the balloon image on my design board, it will be better to show my theme of the room. I also used the balloons when I designed the room.

I divided the balloon image from the white background.

I did not realized the importance of the title before receiving the advice from my tutor, so I changed the title to express my concept of the project more concretely.

Reflection; While making my own design board, I needed to consider many factors, such as the order of working, design and so on. At the first, I was confused because it was hard to know where to start. However, since I researched before, I could refer those for my design board.
There were many modification process while designing it. It was interesting to find the best and the most suitable design, putting images and texts in many ways. Finally, I found the most attractive design to express my theme of the room design and I tried to express my thought by writing the explain about the room. I felt the starting is difficult task.
