Evaluation for my website

I need to check my website before the presentation, so I will evaluate myself by answering some questions.

 

 

 

Planning stage

 

• What were your initial ideas for creating a website? style / name / template : My initial concept of my website was 'comfortable with colorful surrounding' / S'UNY / 3D Designer Portrait (the template name that I chose.)

 

• Do you have a tagline on your website? : Yes, I write ' Interior Design' as a slogan.

 

 

Research

 

• Which designers / artists (relevant to your industry) websites did you look for inspiration? : Philippe Stark (an Interior, product and furniture designer)

 

• How many pages did you want to make on you website and why? Did that change as you progressed onto the research / designing stage? : 4pages, because  I will just show my works and introduce myself and how to contact. (Home, Gallery, Contact, About)

 

Content

 

• What is the purpose of your website? When someone visit my website, I want he or she feel comfortable and want to visit again.

 

• Who are your potential website users? : people who have the same interesting

 

• Why do you think it is important to have a digital portfolio website? : I think I need to record my works on my own page to preserve for a long time. Moreover, these days, most people are accustomed to the digital by using the Internet, so I can approach to them easily by using digital website.

 

Design

 

• Which design elements / tools did you use? (eg: infographics, fixed header, static background image, navigation menu design. text boxes, image galleries, social media feed) and why? : I used all of those to decorate my own website uniquely.

 

• which template did you use in Wix and why? : "3D Designer Portrait" Because my first website concept was 'comfortable with colorful surrounding', so I found the template that designed by using many colors.

• How many pages does your website have and why? 4pages, because  I just want to show my works mainly and introduce myself and how to contact. (Home, Gallery, Contact, About)

• How many images / words does your website have and why? There are many images and words that I cannot count, because I wrote many information to introduce myself and explain my works.

• Which infographics software did you use (if any) and why? I just used Wix.

• Does your website have working icon links? : Yes, on the Right-Top side.

• Are your pages connected / interlinked? : Yes

• Is it easy to navigate? : Yes

• Are the "Contact" page / email link work? : Yes
